Group Project Presentation

    Home   Lectures   Labs   Resources   Discussion
The entire team will receive one grade for the group project and will present the site to the class. The class will assist the instructors in grading the team. Teams must select one or more spokespersons speak for the team.

Your group project presentation should be between 10-15 minutes.

One or more people can actually speak. Either the speaker or one of the other group members will run the computer/projector.

In general, much of your presentation should already be developed in your Project Proposal. Your presentation should consist of the following:

  • A description of the "client" for which the web site was created.
  • An overview of  the purpose and goals of the web site. Make sure to mention any assumptions you made about the site (base browser, server platform, hosting, etc.)
  • A description of the anticipated audience(s) and their typical roles.
  • A tour of the primary features of the site.
  • A quick summary of the project's estimated budget.
  • Discuss whether the site is "complete" or would new sections/features be anticipated. Also discuss how the site will be maintained in the future.

Be prepared to open you child web in FrontPage98 so the class/instructors can review your web structure, directories, file names, etc.

Be prepared for question during and at the completion of your presentation.

Included in your web should be a directory with your project proposal in HTML format.
